في الصين تمكن الاطباء من انقاذ حياة فتاة صينية تضخم وجهها بشكل لم يعد يسمح لها الرؤية او التنفس من انفها
قبل العملية الجراحية
الصينية هذه والتي تدعى "وو هواينان" وعمرها 22 اشتهرت بلقب "فتاة افاتار" نسبة الى فلم الخيال العلمي الشهير الذي تتواجد به مخلوقات عجيبة تشبه هذه الفتاة .
الاطباء قالوا بانهم سيواصلون الجزء الثاني من الجراحة بعد استقرار حالة الفتاة والتأكد من عدم وجود مضاعفات نتيجة الجراحة التي استمرت 22 ساعة , وقال الاطباء بان الفتاة ستعود الى وضعها الطبيعي قبل ظهور هذا التضخم النادر .
